For Importers

Documentation & Compliance

Clean paperwork is what makes an import uneventful. Every JK Industries shipment leaves with a complete, consistent document set prepared for destination customs clearance — here is exactly what you receive.

Included with Every Shipment

Commercial Invoice

Itemized invoice with product descriptions, HS codes, quantities, unit prices, and Incoterms — the basis for your customs valuation.

Packing List

Carton-level detail: contents, counts, net and gross weights, dimensions, and marks — matched to the physical loading.

Certificate of Origin

Issued through the authorized Indian chamber of commerce, certifying Indian origin for duty assessment or preferential tariff claims where applicable.

Bill of Lading (B/L)

Issued by the carrier after vessel loading. We surrender or courier original B/Ls per your bank and payment arrangement, or use telex release for speed.

Shipping Bill (Export Declaration)

Indian customs export documentation, filed by our customs house agent for every consignment.

Available on Request

Food-contact compliance statements

For OGR and food-service bags, we provide material composition and food-contact suitability declarations relevant to your market. Raise specific requirements (e.g., FDA food-contact, EU framework) at the quote stage so we can confirm current status for the exact material.

Third-party inspection reports

We support pre-shipment inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, or your nominated agency, arranged at buyer cost. Inspectors get full factory access during final QC.

Fumigation / phytosanitary certificates

Where destination regulations require treatment of wooden pallets (ISPM-15) or fumigation certificates, we arrange them before shipment.

Insurance certificate

When shipping CIF, marine cargo insurance documentation is included with the document set.

Bank documentation for LC

For Letter of Credit orders, we prepare the full LC-compliant document set through our bank as per the credit terms.

A note on certifications

Compliance requirements differ by market and product application, and certification statuses change over time. Rather than publishing a static list, we ask buyers to state their required certifications and compliance documents at the quotation stage — we will confirm in writing exactly what we can provide for your specific order before you commit. Import duties, local registrations, and destination-side clearances remain the buyer's responsibility; your customs broker is the right advisor there.
