For Importers
International Buyer FAQ
The questions importers ask us most, answered plainly. For product-level questions (materials, printing, GSM), see the general FAQ as well.
What is the minimum order for international shipments?
Product MOQs start at 500 units for twisted and flat handle bags and 2,000 units for SOS, pouch, and OGR formats. In practice, international orders are sized by freight economics: LCL shipments make sense from around 1–2 CBM of cargo, and most buyers consolidate multiple sizes or formats into one shipment to reach an efficient volume.
What are your payment terms for importers?
Standard terms are 50% advance by wire transfer (TT) at order confirmation and 50% before shipment, against packing photos and draft documents. For qualifying order values we accept irrevocable Letters of Credit at sight. Established repeat buyers can discuss adjusted terms as the relationship builds.
Can I get samples before committing?
Yes — we strongly recommend it. Stock samples of comparable specifications ship within 2–3 days; custom pre-production samples in your exact size, GSM, and print take 5–7 business days. Sample and courier costs are nominal and credited to your first bulk order.
What happens if there is a quality problem with my shipment?
Report any discrepancy within 14 days of container receipt with photos and affected carton numbers. Verified defects that exceed the agreed tolerance are compensated by replacement in your next shipment or a credit note — resolved case by case and documented in writing. Our final QC and optional third-party pre-shipment inspection exist precisely to make this rare.
Do you handle shipping, or do I need a freight forwarder?
Under our standard FOB terms, you (or your freight forwarder) book the ocean freight and destination clearance, while we handle everything in India: factory-to-port transport, export customs, and loading. If you prefer, we can quote CIF/CFR with freight included, or recommend forwarders experienced on your route.
How do repeat orders work?
After your first order, your specification, artwork, and print plates are on file. Repeat orders go straight to production — typically 3–4 weeks from confirmation to vessel. Recurring buyers can reserve monthly or quarterly production capacity so lead times never slip during peak season.
Who pays import duty in my country?
Import duties, taxes (VAT/GST), and destination-side fees are the buyer’s responsibility and vary by country and product classification. Our commercial invoice carries accurate HS codes to make your broker’s job straightforward, but for duty rates and import regulations, your licensed customs broker is the right source — we do not provide customs or legal advice.
Can you print my brand on the bags for an export order?
Yes. Custom flexographic printing with Pantone matching is available on all formats at the same MOQs. Artwork is proofed and approved in writing before production, and print plates are stored for your repeat orders.
